About the Role:
Thorncliffe Family Clinic is seeking a reliable and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team in Calgary. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in a medical or clinic setting who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Warmly greet patients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate services or staff.

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using clinic software.

Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay accurate information to patients and healthcare providers.

Maintain patient records, file documents, and handle confidential information with discretion.

Perform clerical tasks such as sorting mail, organizing supplies, and managing office workflows.

Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless clinic operations.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Experience: 1–2 years in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare environment.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic office equipment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.

Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, team player, adaptable, and empathetic with a commitment to patient privacy.
